Miso Glazed Salmon

Ingredients

  • 2 salmon fillets
  • 2 tbsp white miso paste
  • 1 tbsp mirin
  • 1 tbsp sake
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 spring onion, sliced
  • 1 tsp toasted sesame seeds

Preparation

  1. Whisk the miso, mirin, sake and sugar into a smooth glaze.
  2. Coat the salmon and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Grill under a high heat for 8 to 10 minutes, basting once, until caramelised.
  4. Scatter with spring onion and sesame seeds before serving.
