Ingredients
- 500g potatoes, diced
- 2 carrots, diced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 50g plain flour
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp marjoram
- 1.5 litres vegetable stock
- 2 tbsp butter
Preparation
- Soften the onion and carrot in the butter, then add the stock and potatoes.
- Mix the flour, egg and a splash of water into a soft dumpling batter.
- Drop small spoonfuls of batter into the simmering soup.
- Cook for 10 minutes until the dumplings float, then stir in the marjoram and season.
