Ingredients
- 225g butter
- 200g brown sugar
- 100g caster sugar
- 2 eggs
- 300g plain flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 250g dark chocolate chunks
Preparation
- Brown the butter until nutty and amber, then cool slightly.
- Whisk in both sugars, then the eggs, until glossy.
- Fold in the flour, baking soda, salt and chocolate chunks.
- Chill the dough for 30 minutes, then scoop onto lined trays.
- Bake at 180C for 10 to 12 minutes until golden at the edges but soft in the centre.
