Ingredients
- 600g firm white fish, cut into chunks
- 400ml coconut milk
- 2 tbsp coconut oil
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- 10 curry leaves
- 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp ground turmeric
- 2 green chiles, slit
Preparation
- Heat the coconut oil and crackle the mustard seeds and curry leaves.
- Add the ginger-garlic paste and green chiles; fry for one minute.
- Stir in the turmeric, then pour in the coconut milk and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Slide in the fish and simmer for 8 to 10 minutes until just cooked.
- Season with salt and serve with steamed rice.
